2008 Issue 1

With the excesses of Christmas now behind us, all players returned to the field with an enthusiasm borne of now playing A grade Football, and of rejuvenated enthusiasm for the Hurling season ahead. Pre-season attendances at training is strong, and, although at early stages, seems to be going well so far.

The draws for the Championships will take place soon and we await anxiously our opponents in A grade Football, and with anticipation for our second Football side's opponents in the opening encounter. It is likely, unless unforeseen circumstances arise, that our opponents in the B Hurling is already known, but this will be confirmed soon.

We wish Donal, Jerry and Tim, and their respective backroom sides, the very best of luck in the coming season.

The Juvenile AGM took place last week, and the incoming officers are listed on their section here, and the Ladies Football AGM takes place on Wednesday.
Watch out for further details soon.
